Kevin
Kevin is the visionary and founder of Black Cat Barber Co. He was born in raised in small town Vernal, Utah. It wasn’t till he moved to Tooele , UT in 2017 that he became a barber. Kevin is a family man and spends a majority of his time hanging out with his three daughters and son. Some of his hobbies are space exploration and video games. His passion in the art of barbering is definitely classic cuts and styles with a twist of modern edge.
Erika
Erika is the wife to Kevin the owner and a momma to three little girls and one little man. Erika loves the outdoors and spending time with her family. She also is lover of animals and has three fluffs of her own. Erika has always loved the art of hair and beauty , but has an exceptional gift in the art of traditional barbering as well. Erika’s passion for hair is unparalleled and her perfectionist touch is second to none.
Krista
Krista is born and raised in “T-Town” Tooele. She started as a client, and became a barber here at Black Cat as Kevin’s latest apprentice. Krista loves spending time with her family,friends and cat Ozzy. Some of her passions of barbering are, classic styles and traditional straight razor shaves. Krista also LOVES horror movies and all things scary.
Jacob
Jake is a Utah native that was born in Sugarhouse , and raised in small town Grantsville UT. Jake attended barber college locally at the TATC. It was there Jake discovered his specific love for traditional straight razor shaving and barbering. Jake is a man of many other talents as well ,from insanely good skate boarder, to shredding it up guitarist.
Madison
Madison hales from sin city Las Vegas, and recently moved here along with her husband. In her free time Madison loves crafting, art and drawing. Madison has been in the industry for 3 years and Some of her most loved passions of barbering (other than seeing the smiles of her happy customers) are fades, and beard work.
Austyn
Austyn is a local kid from here in neighboring Stansbury . He’s also a local graduate of our own community hair college. Don’t let that young baby face deceive you though, he has a natural talent and a adept intuition for hair of all sorts, be it braiding long hair or cutting classics , he’s definitely your guy. Austyn is also a man of the keys , piano that is . He loves hanging out with friends and just jamming until the vibe is right .
Chloe
Chloe is a local gal that has always had a love for cutting and styling hair of all types ! long ,short , thick or curly she loves it all . She graduated hair school in SLC and has been continuing to push herself and her passion to grow into the art of traditional barbering. Chloe absolutely loves to watch local grizzlies hockey games with her family and friends, she also is a low key nerd and loves scary movies !
Dakota
Dakota pioneered from the neighboring city of Spanish fork where she was born and raised, with her husband and two fluffs. Dakota has been in the hair industry for five plus years now and has a particular love for fades, detail work and the creativity aspect of creating art with no eraser. When Dakotas not in the shop you can usually find her snuggled up reading a good book , watching movies , or camping with her family and friends.
Jazmin
Jazmin is our newest barber and joins us from a line of great standing barber shops. Jaz has been in the barber industry for over 6 years and brings her passion, kindness, and skill to the table! Jaz is a loving momma to one handsome dude and wifey. When Jaz isn’t behind the chair, she loves being able to be creative ,and shape beards all while trying to make each client feel there best. She also loves traveling and loving on her animals.
